This portion of the settings allows you to control where and how the floating buttons will appear on your posts and pages. Start by toggling the button from off to on and then you’ll see a myriad of customization settings for you to play with.
Float Position: You can have the buttons float at the top of the page, the bottom of the page, or on the left-hand side of the screen.
Float size: This determines how large or small you would like the side floating buttons to appear. It does not affect top or bottom floating buttons.
Transition: People will find it annoying to have multiple sets of share buttons visible on the screen at the same time. Because of this, we’ve designed the floating buttons to hide whenever the static horizontal buttons come into view. This field allows you to chooses whether they slide in and out of view or fade in and out of view.
On Mobile: When it detects that it’s on a small screen, we won’t display the side floating button because they would overlap the content and ruin the user experience. So instead, we will either display them at the bottom of the screen or turn them off entirely based on what you enter into this field.
Button Shape: You can select to have them displayed as buttons similar to the horizontal ones, or you can display them as square boxes.
Number of Buttons: This controls the total number of buttons displayed on mobile. The default is five, which is our recommended maximum.
Inherit Visual Options: If turned on, this will color the buttons to match the horizontal buttons exactly. If turned off, you can manually select your colors and hover states separately from the other static horizontal buttons..
Default Color Set, Hover Color Set, Single Button Hover: If you have set Inherit Visual Options to “ON”, then these fields are available. They work exactly the same as the horizontal panel buttons. Read more about those here.
