We are currently looking to hire a part-time developer. Required skills include a thorough understanding of OOPHP, Javascript and the WordPress codex.
While a formal Computer Science education is a nice asset, it is not a requirement. We are more interested in a person who has demonstrated interest, excellence, and passion for programming.
You would begin by refactoring existing code and making pull requests into our GitHub repository. After you have a good understanding of our code base, you can begin producing new code. We are constantly adding new features to the existing plugins, and we have plans for entirely new addons over the next year.
This position is entirely remote so you’ll need to have a decent computer or laptop and stable access to internet. We communicate via Slack, appear.in, and Google Hangouts. Our team is split up across all time zones of the United States.
